Cape Bojeador Lighthouse 2

Touring Ilocos Norte: Cape Bojeador Lighthouse

The Cape Bojeador Lighthouse is another cultural heritage site in Ilocos. It is also a National Historical Landmark. This was built during the Spanish Colonial Era and still functions as a welcoming light to ships who enter the Philippine sea.

If you visit this place, you have reached the nortwesternmost point in Luzon!

This shot is magic. Taken at 6-7PM, there wasn’t any natural light left. My uncle somehow managed to use a flashlight and external flash to get this shot.

  1. I remember being there 2 years back. I managed to reach the top of the tower though it’s kinda freakin scary, but nevertheless the scenery there was so breath taking. Right? =)
