Damn You, Autocorrect!: Awesomely Embarrassing Text Messages You Didn't Mean to SendDamn You, Autocorrect!: Awesomely Embarrassing Text Messages You Didn’t Mean to Send by Jillian Madison

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a hilarious short read. I actually got tears in my eyes from laughing so much. There are awkward embarrassing texts to and from parents, mortifying autocorrects from co-workers, good natured ribbing from friends, and who knew cooking and food texts could be so funny?

Since this book is a compilation of messages from different sources, I also enjoyed the differences in humor and relationships in each message. There are texts where you can see that the relationship between the two people having the conversation is really good and they make jokes out of the autocorrect fails, there are texts where the people don’t get each other’s humor, there are the serious replies, the lame replies, the awkward, and so on. It was like observing different relationships put in a humorous situation at play.

This is a recommended quick read guaranteed to lift your mood.
